Prior to leaving the corporate world to be a full-time mom and business owner of Meliority House, she served as a Regional Sales Manager in the medical device industry where she led a team of 12 sales professionals, driving consistent and remarkable growth. Under her leadership, the team achieved quota every year while developing their individual strengths, leading to several promotions— showcasing her ability to inspire and maximize potential. Throughout her time in medical devices, Mel was a dedicated mentor and educator, shaping the next generation of talent through impactful training programs and leadership initiatives. She was also a voice behind some of the company’s new product commercialization and strategic territory planning. Mel actively championed inclusion, mentorship, and forward-thinking leadership.

Before medical device sales, Mel honed her business acumen in roles spanning IT business development, recruitment, and retail management. Her tenure in IT Solutions demonstrated her ability to drive revenue growth, negotiate high-value contracts, and cultivate lasting relationships. Her earlier experience in progressive leadership roles in retail provided the foundation for her ability to lead dynamic teams and execute creative sales strategies.

A proud Villanova University School of Business graduate with a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and International Business, Mel’s dedication to excellence has always extended beyond corporate walls. She has served as a youth group leader, Boys & Girls Club volunteer, and catechist, leveraging her leadership skills to empower young minds and build community strength.
